How do we count?
The emissions data is calculated using databases from local and international government organizations. We calculate the carbon footprint by category of each consumer transaction.
The datasets provides a per-dollar estimate of carbon emissions from more than 350 industry sectors. Also we encourage our users to share their lifestyle details. Combining these both inputs we get more precise calculations.
